Off To Wine Country

Well, in 24 hours we'll be in the air, en route to San Francisco and the Napa Valley beyond. Our current plan is to blog the trip, adding pics and tales each day. Now, as any of you who may have occasion to look at my own blog may already know, I can't be trusted to update my own simple site once a week just because I'm too lazy to get off the couch, so whether we'll find the time while dashing from winery to winery and getting progressively more soused remains to be seen. But if this is of any interest, I'd advise checking in mid-afternoon each day.

We get into San Fran in the middle of the night, about 4am EST, so will spend a good chunk of Friday sleeping off the jet lag before heading down to the Winchester Mystery House. Purely coincidentally, we arrive on Friday the 13th, and each F13 the Winchester offers a late-night flashlight tour, so we'll be checking the house out twice - once to get the full tour, then again to scare the hell out of Jenn.
